Intercare SSISA Rehabilitation Hospital (Pty) Ltd situated in Newlands, Cape Town seeks to recruit a Confirmations Clerk. The purpose of the position is to provide a professional customer service by communicating effectively with the various stakeholders involved in the patient admission process.
CRITICAL OUTPUTS
Confirm authorization for patient treatment Ensure updated clinical coding and assist with the case management process as required Interpretation and implementation of scheme benefit rules Administer pre-admission and admission process Administration of the creditors and invoices Assisting with reception and admission duties as necessary
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirement: Grade 12 At least 2 years administration experience in a medical facility Understanding of medical schemes and admission processes required Knowledge of the AS400 system will be advantageous Must be able to use Microsoft Office / Outlook and have good typing skillsIf your personal purpose is aligned to our purpose and your values fit in with our value system, please apply.
