Job Title: Construction Estimator and Scheduler Assistant with 2020 Design Software Experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Construction Estimator and Scheduler Assistant with proficiency in 2020 Design software. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating project activities, handling estimations, and utilizing 2020 Design to create compelling visualizations for interior design projects. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be adept at handling client interactions, and demonstrate a strong understanding of construction and design principles.

Working hours: 9 am to 5 pm EST; Monday to Friday (tentative schedule)

Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

  • Work closely with project teams to ensure seamless coordination of activities from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate project progress.
Estimation:
  • Develop accurate project cost estimates based on project requirements, materials, and labor considerations.
  • Analyze and interpret project specifications and drawings to create detailed and comprehensive estimates.
2020 Design Software:
  • Utilize 2020 Design software to create detailed 3D models and visualizations for interior design projects.
  • Collaborate with designers and clients to bring design concepts to life through visual representations.
Client Interaction:
  • Communicate with clients to understand their project requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
  • Present and discuss design concepts and cost estimates with clients in a clear and professional manner.
Scheduling:
  • Assist in developing project schedules, ensuring that timelines are met and projects progress efficiently.
  • Coordinate with contractors and team members to optimize scheduling and resource allocation.
Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including estimates, contracts, and project-related correspondence.
  • Update and manage records within the CRM system.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Construction Estimator and Scheduler Assistant in the construction or interior design industry.
  • Proficiency in using Contractor Foreman (CRM) and 2020 Design software for creating detailed interior design visualizations and management.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate project estimations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
