Job Description
Our Client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Management Section Lead to join a growing team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and managing complex construction projects, with a particular focus on marine works.Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion.
- Provide expert guidance and support to the design team during the design phases.
- Develop and implement effective project management strategies and processes.
- Manage construction contracts, claims, and dispute resolution processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Registered Professional Construction Manager or Registered Professional Engineer.
- Post-graduate degree or certification in construction project management (preferred).
- Proven experience in managing marine construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of FIDIC and NEC suite of contracts.
- Expertise in contract management, claims, and dispute resolution.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and other office software.
