Construction Manager

Job Description
A well-established Construction company, based in Mossel Bay, is looking for a Construction Manager to join their team on a contract-basis.Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed construction plans, schedules, and work programs.
- Team Management: Oversee and coordinate the work of construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Quality Control: Ensure all construction work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.
- Safety Management: Implement and monitor health and safety protocols on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
- Client Liaison: Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
- Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and present them to senior management or clients.
- Degree/Diploma in Construction Management,
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction management role.
- Experience within building industry
