Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee our civil construction projects in the Tzaneen or Burgersfort area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. The Construction Manager will work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and timelines
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution
Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and construction regulations and requirements.
Manage project budgets and expenses.
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any concerns
Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during construction
Conduct regular side inspections and ensure that contractors adhere to project plans.
Assist in ensuring that site instructions are carried out satisfactorily by contractors.
Attend all site meetings are properly kept and resolutions are implemented.
Ensure and assist with the compilation of reports (progress, quality reports etc.)
Assit with conducting risk assessments and to ensure that measures to mitigate the identified risks are in place and implemented.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field - Proven experience as a Construction Manager overseeing building projects - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Proficient in project management software and tools

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
N. Dip. / B. Eng. / Bsc / B. Tech in Construction Management.
Registered or eligible to register as Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng/ Pr Techni Eng / Pr CPM (advantageous)
Experience:
Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
Computer Literacy:
Proficient in the use of Ms Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Ms Projects (advantageous)
