Job SummaryHire Resolve is looking for an experienced Construction Manager/Project Manager for a well-regarded Arts and Heritage company in Johannesburg. The role involves overseeing the design and renovation of a building's interior from start to finish.In this position, you'll coordinate with architects, engineers, curators, and contractors, ensuring the project stays on budget and on schedule.This is a 12-month contract role with a hybrid work arrangement, including office meetings (in Johannesburg) and site visits (in Pretoria).Responsibilities

• Plan and Schedule: Create and manage project timelines to keep everything on track.

• Manage Budget: Track expenses and ensure the project stays within budget.
• Coordinate: Work with architects, engineers, curators, and contractors to meet project goals.
• Ensure Quality: Check that work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Visit Site: Regularly visit the site to monitor progress and resolve any issues.
• Keep Records: Maintain project documents and keep everything organized.
• Solve Problems: Address any problems or conflicts that come up during the project.
• Report: Update stakeholders on project progress, budget, and any potential issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management
• Experience with libraries, museums, or similar institutions would be a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Excellent leadership and project management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in construction management software
• Valid driver's license and own transportation
