Construction Site Manager - DurbanFull job descriptionRequirementsBTech/Bachelors degree in Civil engineering or registered with SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager or Professional Construction ManagerRegistered with ECSA as a Professional Civil Engineer, Technologist or Technician.Preferably SA CitizensDuties and ResponsibilitiesAsphalt and road rehabilitation experience is a prerequisiteOwn vehicle will be an added advantage.Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.Ability to manage project activities simultaneously with a constant eye on qualityKnowledge of the civil engineering code requirements and scheduling methods.Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.Preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates.Coordinate the quality control programs with the assistance of the Quality Assurance Manager.Preparing progress reports and issuing progress schedules to the Contracts Manager.Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote a safety culture among the ranks throughout the company.Hiring and supervising the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.Job Type: Full-timePay: R40 000,00 - R50 000,00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)Education:Honours (Preferred)Experience:Construction: 10 years (Preferred)construction and Project Management: 10 years (Preferred)Construction management software: 10 years (Preferred)Language:English n other SAvlanguages (Preferred)License/Certification:Drivers Licence (Preferred)Willingness to travel:50% (Preferred)
