Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled

Site Manager

to oversee and manage construction site activities and ensure projects run smoothly. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who can lead by example, guide workers and subcontractors, and maintain a productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret Drawings issued and coordinate services on site Supervise and guide workers on construction sites to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Assign tasks and create schedules in line with project timelines. Manage stock, place orders, and ensure materials are available as needed. Monitor team performance and provide direction to achieve quality results. Communicate effectively with clients and address any concerns on-site. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and site standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 3 years' experience in managing small commercial construction sites. First-hand knowledge of construction methodology and technology. Ability to read and interpret building plans. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Punctual, reliable, and maintains sober habits. Skilled in time management and team coordination.

Position Details

This is a 3 Month contractual position with the intention to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Pay: R20000,00 - R35000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Observatory, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
