Weare committed to investing our clients funds in a responsible manner, with the interestsof our clients always coming first.Purpose of the positionTo champion the brand in various strategic initiatives and ensure that its attributes (trust,honesty, doing good, authenticity, etc.) are shared with our stakeholders throughstrategic, purpose-driven marketing content that is relevant, memorable, and adds valueto their investments/financial decisions and increases their understanding.Key responsibilities of the position1. Providing communications support to the business. This includes:o Coordinating speaking opportunities; ando Managing and continually evolving all Futuregrowth communication that meetsthe clients needs, expectations and builds the brand.2. Continuously developing and managing core communication channels to driveeffective internal and external two-way communications and engagement.3. Serving as a content manager for written and video content. This includes:o Developing content strategy with the Marketing Manager;o Responsibility for management of the content strategy;o Writing and editing Futuregrowth web articles, social media posts , client letters,emails and press releases;o Responsibility for managing freelance writers and internal writers;o Developing briefs for video content, and overseeing production and editing;o Script writing for video content where needed; ando Managing the video studio. 4. Managing and overseeing the production of marketing material including monthly /quarterly reports.5. Managing various PR processes and relationships to expose our brand to our targetmarket and broader public audience in line with business and sales objectives. Skills, know-how and experience:o Excellent project management skills.o Creative and technical wordsmithing - writing and editing is an essential skill for thisrole.o Proficiency in using MS 365, One Drive, Acoustic.o Experience in writing for financial markets is essential, with good technicalunderstanding of the asset management and banking sector environment would beadvantageous.o Editorial skills - proof reading, grammar checking and copy writing.o Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write for a varietyof media.o High client centricity with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a changing workingenvironment.o Crisis and incident management communications experience.Technical/ professional qualifications:o Bachelors degree with an English major or;o Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent communications qualification; ando 3-5 years work experience in a similar role in the financial sector.Key behaviours and competencies:o Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple work steams at once;o Attention to detail is crucial;o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;o Strong attention to detail and accuracy;o Ability to work independently and meet deadlines;o Self-starter who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet departmental/jobobjectives and deadlines independently;o Excellent verbal and written communication skills;o Ability to articulate complex issues in a simple way;o Ability to work in a pressurised environment; ando Ability to work collaboratively across teams and people.2 Recruitment process and closing datesSelected candidates will need to attend a series of competency-based interviews/activities and a psychometric assessment.Contact detailsEmail: futuregrowth_careers@futuregrowth.co.za3
