CONTRACT MANAGER - Wastewater Treatment Civil Works Project (Western Cape)Our client a leading international construction firm, is seeking an experienced CONTRACT MANAGER for a prestigious project in The Western Cape the Upgrade and Extension of Wastewater Treatment Works: Civil Works project.As the Contract Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of this critical infrastructure project, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, managing project resources, and maintaining open communication with all stakeholders.Remuneration:On offer is a competitive remuneration package, ranging from R500,000 to R800,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the civil works contract, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
• Liaise with the client, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and challenges
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Manage site operations, resource allocation, and subcontractor performance
• Resolve contractual disputes and claims effectively

• Minimum of 15 years' experience in the built environment, with a strong focus on water and sanitation projects
• Proven track record in managing large-scale civil engineering and civil works projects
• Excellent knowledge of contract administration, project management methodologies, and construction best practices
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
