Purpose of the Position:
The Specialist: Contracting (GE) will be responsible for Contract Administration for Channels, local and international.
Key Performance Areas
Outputs
Contract Administration
Liaise with, and build good relationships with advertising agencies
Administer contracts for commercials across all DStv channels, ensuring compliance with guidelines
Generate and refine sales orders according to the implementation brief from Sales GE
Optimize inventory usage across all DStv channels to maximize commercial opportunities
Verify inventory and ensure prescribed breaks are available for commercial bookings
Administer contracts for commercials across all local and international channels on the DStv Platform
Ensure bookings are made according to the correct business type within the Landmark system
Complete accurate contracts by following correct booking instructions and procedures.
Communicate program and break changes
Deliver contracts to clients timeously
Acknowledge client queries and correspondence within 24 hours of receipt
Resolve client queries accurately within one week of receipt.
Ensure correspondence is communicated in a professional manner in line with business standards.
Ensure client booking requests and contracts are accurately filed and maintained.
Management and collection of Data
Ensure data is readily available
Maintain data accuracy for reliable contract administration
Systems
Monitor and ensure optimal use of Landmark
Policy Adherence
Implement policies and procedures in line with broadcast guidelines
Ensure adherence to policies according to broadcast guidelines.
Qualifications
Diploma in a related field (e.g., Media Studies, Business Administration).
Experience
3-5 years advertising industry experience, with a focus on contract administration
