Contracts Administrator Coal Supply

Coal Mining Company with Head Office in Sandton seeks to appoint a Contracts Administrator in their team to support day to day coal supply activities. The role will be responsible for:
Assisting with planning and organizing road and rail shipments
Assisting with monitoring inventory and quality of product at multiple locations
Ensuring relevant production, inventory and sales data is logged and maintained
Supporting production, tracking forecasts and purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
Liaising with peers, management and external suppliers and service providers and stakeholders
Conducting site visits at operations for verification checks on activities and compliance to the required
Reporting on contracts performance against set deliverables
Demonstrate behaviours in line with health, safety and environmental standards
Identify opportunities for improved processes, and cost management in executing the role tasks.
To be considered for this role, the candidate will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Commerce or Finance or related field. At least 3-5 (three to five) years working experience in a supply chain/logistics role is required.
The candidate will have to demonstrate good general knowledge of domestic logistics and the management of coal sales arrangements. Good knowledge of relevant mining legislation
Planning, organisational and time management skills will need to be excellent, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid SA Drivers license
