Contracts Manager
Job Description
Job Summary Key Responsibilities: Manage contracts strategically to minimize the likelihood of claims from contractors, safeguarding project integrity and financial stability. Ensure contractors deliver on project schedules established as baseline benchmarks, maintaining project momentum and efficiency. Collaborate in the development of Project Execution Plan (PEP) strategies and establish contract requirements, facilitating streamlined procurement processes for Supply Chain Management (SCM). Oversee projects from initiation to conclusion, ensuring timely completion and adherence to allocated budgets. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a strong commercial background, considered essential for this role. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in mining, construction, and commercial sectors, demonstrating a solid understanding of industry-standard contract conditions such as General Conditions of Contract for Construction Works (GCC), the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), and New Engineering Contract (NEC).MECS AfricaRecruiter
