Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contracts Manager/Project Manager to oversee sportsfield construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction management and a strong understanding of contract management processes.Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of sportsfield construction projects from planning to completion
- Create project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality project delivery
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specifications
- Review and negotiate contracts and manage contract changes
- Prepare and submit project reports as required
- Handle any project-related issues or disputes that may arise
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standardsRequirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on sportsfield construction
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Professional certification (e.g. PMP) is a plus
