They are our greatest asset.Join us and let's grow together.We are currently accepting applications for the following position located in the Witbank, Mpumalanga area.The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling, co-ordinating and managing the entire Control Room and Mining Systems.In this role you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring of productivity and reporting.
- Optimally allocating mining fleet.
- Developing dispatching strategies that satisfy the goals of the operation.
- Liaising with Production Supervisors and Operators to satisfy the goals of the operation.
- Ensuring emergency preparedness and response.
- Either a Grade 12, Surface Blasting Certificate for Coal Mines, 2 different types of opencast machine licenses and a minimum of 7 years' experience in an opencast production environment; OR
- Grade 12, Valid Trade Certificate and a minimum of 3 years' experience as an Artisan.
- Dispatch Level 1 Competency will be advantageous.
- Ability to structure written information in a logical manner which clearly communicates the key issue and facts.
- Ability to create shared meaning by clearly and confidently communicating in the relevant information to a decision or task, in a verbal format.
- Consciousness for details and the ability to produce consistently high quality and accurate work.
- Ability to adhere to rules and regulations, follow instructions and limit risk of non-compliance to the business.
