Job Title: Control Room/CCTV Operator

Location: Boksburg

Salary: R4400 - R6 500

Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor live CCTV footage to detect and assess security threats or unusual activities.
Operate and control surveillance cameras to cover critical areas.
Respond promptly to alarms or alerts triggered by the CCTV system.
Coordinate with security personnel or law enforcement in case of suspicious activities.
Maintain accurate and organized records of surveillance activities and incidents.
Generate reports as required for review by security management.
Ensure the proper functioning of CCTV equipment through regular checks and maintenance.
Report any technical issues for timely resolution.
Communicate effectively with security personnel and other relevant stakeholders.
Provide clear and concise information during incidents.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a CCTV Operator/Monitor is preferred.
Proficient in operating and controlling CCTV systems.
Basic knowledge of technical troubleshooting for equipment issues.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify suspicious or unusual behavior.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with security teams and other departments.
Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills during critical situations.
