Conveyancing Paralegal

Job Description
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Matric / National Diploma.
- Minimum 6 to 10 years experience working in a conveyancing environment.
- Experienced paralegal with both transfer and bonds experience with Standard and Nedbank Bank.
- In-depth knowledge of the full spectrum of conveyancing transactions is essential.
- Specific experience in Standard Bank and Nedbank mortgage bonds, and associated software platforms.
- Experience in commercial mortgage bonds, a strong advantage.
- Own transport essential.
- Knowledge of FICA.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Computer Literate (MS Office Suite) including Excel.
- Draft residential / home loan mortgage bond documents for the major banks.
- Deal with all aspects of the conveyancing process.
- Prepare documentation.
- Communication with clients.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
- Demonstrate customer focus.
- Constructive teamwork.
- Work with speed and accuracy.
- Honesty, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to take initiative.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Well organised and conscientious.
- Meticulous and ability to pay attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise duties.
