Closing Date: 2024-10-30Job Type: PermanentJob Level: SkilledExperience: Between 3 - 5 YearsEE/AA: NoSummaryOur client in Centurion is looking for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join their legal team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property transfers and conveyancing, with additional litigation experience being highly advantageous.This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment, handling diverse responsibilities related to property law.

  • Handle all aspects of the conveyancing process, including document preparation, client communication, and liaising with relevant parties
  • Assist with property transfers and related legal procedures
  • Manage deadlines and ensure timely completion of all conveyancing tasks
  • Support litigation processes if required (preferred)
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in conveyancing
  • Litigation experience is a bonus; candidates with both conveyancing and litigation experience will be preferred
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in relevant legal software and Microsoft Office suite
