Job Description


Our client, a leading supplier to the retail paint and building sector. They have nation wide manufacturing depots and branch networks, are looking for a CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, based in Cato Ridge.

  • Assist the CEO with financial budgets and the achievement of these targets.
  • Capex investment and budgeting
  • Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of manufacturing facilities, equipment, and machinery to minimise downtime and maintenance costs.
  • Ensure effective communication, coordination, and alignment between operational teams and contractors to support seamless operations and project execution.
  • Prepare regular reports, presentations, and analyses for senior management to communicate performance, challenges, and recommendations for optimisation
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks to minimise disruptions and ensure business continuity.
Requirements:
  • 10 - 15 years experience in a senior management / executive roll within a manufacturing business with national presence.
  • Business degree or equivalent qualification
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Effective planning and execution skills
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to drive innovation and implement new processes and technologies
Based in Cato Ridge and will include national travel to support related activities in JHB, CT and Bloem.CTC is an annual package of R1.2 million per annum
