Job Description
Our client, a leading supplier to the retail paint and building sector. They have nation wide manufacturing depots and branch networks, are looking for a CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, based in Cato Ridge.
- Assist the CEO with financial budgets and the achievement of these targets.
- Capex investment and budgeting
- Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of manufacturing facilities, equipment, and machinery to minimise downtime and maintenance costs.
- Ensure effective communication, coordination, and alignment between operational teams and contractors to support seamless operations and project execution.
- Prepare regular reports, presentations, and analyses for senior management to communicate performance, challenges, and recommendations for optimisation
- Identify and mitigate operational risks to minimise disruptions and ensure business continuity.
- 10 - 15 years experience in a senior management / executive roll within a manufacturing business with national presence.
- Business degree or equivalent qualification
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Effective planning and execution skills
- Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to drive innovation and implement new processes and technologies
