Supp Chain servReference Number: [[7276]]Grading: C2INTRODUCTIONKomatsu is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator for its PDC branch that can assist with overseeing the warehouse function and parts sales. The preferred candidate should have a diploma/degree in Supply Chain & Logistics/Sales with a minimum of 2 - 4 years experience of which 1-year supervisory experience within a warehouse and parts sales environment within the mining/construction industry.QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree/2 - 3 Year Diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics

EXPERIENCE:

• 2 - 4 years of which 1-year supervisory experience in a warehouse and parts sales environment within the mining/construction industry

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Computer Literate - MS Excel,
• SAP confirmations for picking and binning,
• SAP Search items - bin history,
• Printing & capturing of stock count sheets,
• Valid Driver's license (essential)
• Parts Sales (quoting, invoicing ect).
• Good customer communication and negotiation skills

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Parts Sales
• Identify parts items out of manual
• Issuing quoting and invoicing of parts
• Issuing credit notes
• Inbound Logistics
• Supervising the planning, preparation, and checking of inbound shipments
• Controls & Coordinates inbound activities
• Reports on statistics & analytics to facilitate continuous improvement of warehouse operations
• Reports on slow-moving & obsolete stock

WarehouseSupervision & Inventory Control

• Facilitates and monitors correct storage of items
• Checks that warehouse and yard security is maintained and that assets are safeguarded
• Arranges and participates in stock counts (perpetual stock counts and ad hoc counts as required)
• Supervises warehouse operations in multiple stores, such as tool stores, consumable stores, and hazardous materials stores
• Monitors bins, layouts, and zones by conducting inspections
• Monitors tidiness, cleanliness, and order in the warehouse
• Monitors slow moving stock

Parts Obsolescence

• Prints parts obsolescence reports at a set frequency as per procedure
• Administrates the parts scrapping procedure
• Monitors parts for obsolescence
• Reports obsolete parts to management

Outbound Logistics

• Supervises the planning, preparation, and checking of outbound shipments
• Controls & Coordinates outbound activities
• Monitors picking for outbound inventory / parts/components/items
• Monitors "zero" picking
• Supervises the operation of mechanical handling equipment (e.g. forklifts, etc.
