We are looking for a
Co-Ordinator: SP&L Shut,
to provide leadership and coordination of planning function such as work assessment, planning and scheduling function to ensure effective support to the RBM's SP&L.

Reporting to the
Manager: RMM
and working in a collaborative community within the SP&L Engineering team, you will:
Providing and managing a comprehensive work assessment, planning and scheduling service to designated service sections
Periodically assess the general quality of codes, numbers and classifications schemes to ensure that these will maximally contribute to quality management reporting
Responsible for compliance on reporting. Rio Tinto compliance and corrective actions
Coordinating the development of the annual operational level maintenance budget based on zero based budgeting (ZBB)
Supporting the Plant Engineer to achieve his set objective for the area.
Assist Plant Engineer with the coordination of Shutdown Management.
To promote mutual support and sharing of knowledge across all sections.
To periodically assess the general level of planning services provided, by formally as well as informally discussing it with production management, and thereby stimulating continuous service improvement.
Supervise and control the activities, standards of performance and behaviour of designated support staff.
Provide guidance and leadership to enable team to carry out tasks safely and professionally.
What you'll bring
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
National Diploma or Btech in Engineering discipline recommended

Valid South African EB License

Minimum of 5 years' work experience as a supervisor in an operational environment

10years appropriate industrial experience in mining, engineering maintenance, planning
(Must be visible on CV)
General understanding of Mechanical and Electrical equipment within a Heavy mining environment.(
Must be visible on CV)
Sound understanding of asset management strategies and maintenance practices with exceptional skills in SAP and the Project Management (
Must be visible on CV).
