• Degree in a relevant field
• Two or more years of agency experience
• Socially conscious and able to unpack complex ideas
• Ability to write on different subjects across a variety of sectors
• Solutions-driven thinker
• Must be Cape Town-based
• Driverxe2x80x99s license

Traditional Media:

• Copywriting xe2x80x93 press releases, op-eds, advertorials, media statements, website copy, reports, etc.
• Media relations xe2x80x93 building relationships, securing coverage, and interview opportunities

Social Media:

• Content schedules xe2x80x93 source and develop monthly content in line with the clientxe2x80x99s communication objectives
• Community management xe2x80x93 manage clientxe2x80x99s social media pages and respond to messages in a timely manner
• Crisis communications xe2x80x93 identifying and managing urgent queries

Client Service:

• Ensure a strong understanding of the clientxe2x80x99s business and insights into the industry they operate in
• Assist in anticipating needs, solutions, and opportunities to tap into
• Build and sustain strategic communications plans and opportunities for clients
• Onboard and build relationships with new clients
• Compile status, action, and monthly reports
• Ensure monthly deliverables are met
