Boksburg, East Rand: SEMI SKILLED ELECTRICIAN
Minimum Requirements:
-Reliable and mechanically skilled male, aged between 27-45 years
-South African citizen, physically fit to perform daily task (standing for long hours, reaching, bending, lifting)
-Electrical Trade qualification a must (Red Seal)
-Minimum 2 years practical working experience as an Electrician a must (not apprentice/intern/training experience), specifically in a construction environment a must
-Experienced in Single Phase and Three Phase electricity
-Must be able to write Certificates of Compliance (C.O.C.)
-Generator experience highly preferred
-Valid driver’s license a must
-Clear criminal record a must
-Must currently reside in East Rand (within commuting distance)
-No lawful termination/dismissal at any previous employer due to misconduct or non performance
-Stable employment record and contactable references a must (CV must indicate full employment record until currently/recently and employment dates)
-To start immediately
Duties:
-Full Electrician duties for Construction Company
-Perform semi-skilled and unskilled labouring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment.
-Install electrical components, equipment, or systems.
-Test and repair electrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning.
-Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections
-Inspect electrical or electronic systems for defects.
-Construct controllers and panels
Salary: R 18 000.00 – R 20 000.00 gross maximum (depending on relevant experience)
