Kameeldrift, Pretoria: FINANCIAL MANAGER (AGRICULTURAL)
Minimum Requirements:
-Well presentable and professional
-Fully bilingual in both Afrikaans and English a must
-Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting a must (Master’s Degree or CPA preferred)
-Recent proven experience as a Financial Manager or similar role a must, preferably within the agriculture or food industry
-Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
-Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills
-Knowledge of various information systems and management thereof.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
-Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information
to non-financial stakeholders.
-Proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
-Stable employment record and contactable References

Duties:
-Full financial management functions for feedlot, meat producing & agricultural company
-Overseeing all financial activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
-Contribute to the strategic decision-making process, helping to drive financial growth and sustainability of
operation
-Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making processes.
-Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas of opportunity and risk, and providing recommendations for improvement.
-Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
-Collaborate with operational teams to develop and implement control measures and efficiency improvements.
-Conduct financial analysis on investment opportunities, capital expenditures, and new projects.
-Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards and oversee preparation of tax returns and other financial documentation.
-Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial transactions, optimizing liquidity and minimizing financial risk.
-Develop and maintain effective internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
