Linbro Park, Johannesburg: TAIL LIFT TECHNICIAN
Minimum Requirements:
-Reliable male with sober habits
-Certification in Tail Lift or related technical field a must
-Recent experience as a Tail Lift Technician a must, with a strong understanding of tail lift systems
-Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment a must
-Recent experience working with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems in tail lifts.
-Familiarity with different tail lift brands and models.
-Strong troubleshooting skills and able to diagnose and fix issues efficiently
-Able to use diagnostic equipment and tools for tail lift systems.
-Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
-Willing and able to work overtime and be on standby as needed.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
-Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
-Residing within daily commuting distance from Linbro Park, Sandton
-No lawful termination at any previous employer due to misconduct or non performance
-Stable employment record and contactable references a must
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Full Tail lift technician duties for transport company
-Perform installation, repair, and maintenance on tail lift systems (hydraulic, electric, and mechanical) on fleet of vehicles
-Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with tail lifts, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components.
-Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on tail lift systems to ensure their safety and reliability.
-Test tail lift functionality after repairs to ensure proper operation and safety.
-Replace worn or damaged parts, such as seals, pumps, motors, and cylinders.
-Work with the team to ensure timely completion of repairs and minimize downtime.
-Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
-Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide on-site repairs as necessary.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
