Our culture of excellence incorporates working collegially, where every team member can contribute meaningfully and make a difference.If you are ready to make an impact, join our team!Your Next Career Opportunity - Corporate Counsel IProvide legal support and counseling in connection with asset management and corporate contracts and documents as requested by various company departments.What You Will Do - Primary ResponsibilitiesAnalyze property title and related property documentation to assess the legal feasibility to install telecommunication towers.Assist with preparation of various risk assessments regarding issues with property title, mortgage bonds, servitudes, and the validity of contracts and restrictive conditions, including alternatives to mitigate and control such risks.Research and analyze all applicable law sources, statutes and legal precedent in order to analyze and/or form legal opinions and documentation.Conduct legal research on local laws, regulations and jurisprudence applicable to specified matters.Assist to draft, review and negotiate a wide range of legal contracts and agreements.Assist with general asset/real estate management matters.Assist and follow up with registration of properties and contracts.Assist, prepare and coordinate corporate and regulatory filings.Assist with vendor due diligence process.Assist with litigation support and oversight, including with pre-litigation disputes and issues.Coordinate and implement projects to improve the internal legal processes.Comply with the companys defined Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) procedures and regulations.Maintain corporate records.Coordinate and implement projects to improve the internal in country legal processes of the company.Resolve issues related to ground leases and permits, which may require travel.Assist with general litigation control, including the updating of the litigation trackers with the control of deadlines and scheduled hearings etc.Assist other departments with purchases, extensions, amendments and abatements.General legal advisor responsibilities and the ability to resolve routine legal and real estate issues.Legal due diligence with respect to Merger and Acquisition (M&A) transactions and their corresponding Master Lease Agreements (MLA) in sale leaseback deals.What Youll Need - Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor's DegreeAdmitted Attorney, B.Comm. LLB or LLB preferably;Experience: 1+ years1 to 3 years of experience in Corporate, Commercial and/or real estate transaction environment required, including but not limited to landlord-tenant relations, development & construction and permitting regulation.Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions preferred.#LI-SV1
