Job Description
Corporate DriverLocation: MidrandContract engagementRole purpose:- Execution of daily driving for company activities, Client visits, Government visits. Protection of Executive, avoiding threats against assets and people.Key accountabilities- Managing the secure transportation of Executives and delegates.- Identify and prevent any threat against Executives or any assets in transit- Daily Ad-hoc requests needing transportation of Executives and Collection or drop off of Business collateral.- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and provide customer service- Plan routes to optimize efficiency and avoid traffic congestion- Ensure the safety of passengers and adhere to traffic laws- Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle issues timeously- Ensuring that deliveries and collections are made timeously and in the best conditionCore competencies, knowledge and experience:
- At least 3 - 5 years relevant experience which must include the following:
- Advance driving techniques, offensive and defensive driving
- Threat and risk assessment
- Operational planning
- Valid drivers licence
- Clean driving record
- Excellent planning and organising skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good oral communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Ability to work under pressure & remain calm under pressure
- Flexible and adaptable & ability to handle a variety of vehicles
