Job Description
This is a great junior management role that is best suited for an individual who is passionate about analyzing financial data and reporting on it. This opportunity will require you to oversee a team of 2 to 3 junior analysts, while managing accounting records. This is the perfect platform for a candidate who is looking for a challenge and exponential career growth.Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Finance modelling.
- Compiling market analysis and financial reports.
- Documenting financial processes.
- Analyzing financial data.
- Approving purchases.
- Data integrity management (Financial models).
- Offering advice on fiscal procedures.
- Leading and managing a team of analysts.
- Post-graduate Degree/NQF Level 8 equivalent qualification in Finance, Investment, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering.
- R, Python, VBA & MATLAB certification (Advantageous).
- 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the financial services and Fintech industry.
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
- Advanced knowledge of financial and investment markets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead and take accountability.
- High achieving individual with outstanding academic achievements (advantageous).
