  • Gather and maintain comprehensive cost information, nurturing our expenses database with accurate and up-to-date figures
  • Design and implement efficient data accumulation systems, streamlining our cost-tracking processes for maximum effectiveness
  • Strategically plan and record variable costs, identifying opportunities for optimization and savings
  • Prepare detailed budgeting reports, scrutinizing standard and actual costs to pinpoint inaccuracies and inform strategic decisions
  • Dive deep into our profit margins, analyzing trends and identifying areas for improvement to enhance our bottom line
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance every step of the way
  • Proactively identify and recommend cost-effective solutions, leveraging your expertise to drive continuous improvement

Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • BCom Accounting
  • Studying towards or completed CIMA
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in cost accounting or similar role
  • Experience with financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting
  • NB! Will be required to travel between different branches
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong technical abilities in financial reporting, analysis, and management, with expertise in accounting software and Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to forge strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting, along with a solid grasp of accounting principles and standards
