The VKB Group is a significant role player in the agricultural industry in South Africa and strives, through best practices, continuous improvement and world-class operations, to add meaningful value to the industry.VKB Milling (Pty) Ltd operates white maize mills in Mokopane and Louis Trichardt in Limpopo, and Mashishing in Mpumalanga, as well as a wheat mill and bakery in Frankfort in the Free State.The company offers employees the opportunity to utilise and develop their skills and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding work environment.The Cost Accountant is responsible to accurately do yield and production calculations for VKB Milling.Requirements

• BCom Accounting
• CIMA qualification will serve as recommendation

• 3-5 years' relevant experience within the Cost Accounting field
• Previous NAVISION experience will be an added advantage

• Maintain costing records
• Project costing
• Generate costing reports
• Develop and maintain costing models
• Monitor purchase price variance

• Assist in the budget and forecast process with pricing structures
• Assist with stock counts
• Compile monthly management reports
• Ensure daily posting of production & transfer orders
• Assist all departments with IT related enquiries
• Approval of General journals & payments on ad-hoc basis
• Maintain inventory item setup on NAVISION
• Monitor & rapport production efficiency on weekly basis
• Recipe /BOM Management.
• Creating / reviewing of new item codes
• Review and investigating of Stock take variances
• Consignment stock support
• Maize Financing,
• Month and Recons

• Strong analytical, numeracy and interpersonal skills
• Good computer literacy, with the ability to function at an advanced level in Excel
• Ability to function independently, in a team and accept responsibility
