Our client situated in Brackenfell, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Estimator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, analysing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to provide comprehensive pricing information. This role is crucial to ensuring that our bids are competitive and profitable while maintaining the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 - 5 years' experience.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
Analyze project plans, blueprints, and technical documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and scope
Determine material, labour, equipment, and time requirements for projects
Research material, equipment, and labour costs, maintaining up-to-date pricing information
Prepare detailed and organized cost estimate reports
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety
Assist with bid preparation and submission for potential projects
