Job Description
COST MANAGER - Port Elizabeth
The Cost Manager will be responsible for the cost and risk functions on a world scale native forest regeneration project on the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Project Management, Business Management, Quantity Surveying, Accounting or Finance).
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years of cost management/project management experience.
Experience in a carbon or climate project implementation environment, or a related field is highly advantageous.
Strong working knowledge and proven experience of project management, cost management and data analysis.
Proficiency in cost and data analytics tools and software (e.g. Oracle Unifier, PRISM, 4CastPlus, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Certifications in relevant fields (e.g. project management, quantity surveying, data analysis) are advantageous.
