To contribute to the efficiency of the business by providing accurate and timeous financial and strategic support to the Finance Director and Executive members
Minimum Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12
BCom Management Accounting or BTech Cost & Management Accounting
5 + years relevant experience
Proven experience and track record in a manufacturing environment (Highly Advantageous)
Main Responsibility:
Product cost information
Provide strategic support and information to the Executives
Product specification control
Tender costing and analysis
OE selling price justification
Smelter costing and automation
Monitor London Metal Exchange price index for lead variation increases
Recommending changes to the Companys processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit
Calculate and compile Export Selling price schedules for Marketing Director
Inventory reconciliation: Reconciliation between ledger and subledger and involved in stock counts
Technical development costings
Manage, lead and develop the Costing team
Manufacturing budgets and forecast
Update and maintain related policies and procedure
Create reports to advise on improving efficiency, reducing scrap and inefficiencies
Purchase Price Variance reporting
Update and maintain related Master data
Manage expenditures and look for cost-efficient and savings providing solutions to inefficiencies
