Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist facilities in developing effective quality improvement plans
- Support in the development of relevant job aids and standard operating procedures as requested by Line Management.
- Mentor counsellors as per NDoH/WHO guidelines within Counsellors scope of practice.
- Provide continuous quality improvement support to Right to Care-supported VMMC facilities as per identified gaps.
- Provide in-service training to counsellors as per identified gaps.
- Offer Supportive Supervision, mentorship and couching to counsellors.
- Ensure successful referral/linkage networks
- Ensure all HTS data generated is verified before submission in all facilities.
- Assess counsellors on Registration, Communication to Clients and IEC Standard
- Assess Counsellors on Individual Counselling and Testing for MMC Clients Standard
- Conduct debriefings when required.
- Check if all counsellors do Proficiency testing
- Compile and submit assessment/support visit reports to the Team Leader in time.
- Compile quality assessment reports and submit to facilities within 10 working days.
- Report any challenges to the CQI Team Leader on time.
- Assist counsellors in compiling daily/monthly HTS statistics
- Encourage counsellors to communicate HTS statistics with admin clerks and data capturers in time.
- Fill in for other mentors at sites as and when required by line management.
- Assist in the provision of high-quality male circumcision procedures as per NDoH/WHO clinical guidelines as and when required by management.
