Our client is seeking a Country Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations in Zambia. This role demands a strategic leader who can drive business growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage a diverse team.Responsibilities:Develop and implement the companys strategy in the country to achieve business goals and objectives.Set clear goals and KPIs for the local team in alignment with global strategies.Continuously assess and adjust strategies to respond to market changes and opportunities.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company in Zambia, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.Implement and optimize operational procedures to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.Ensure the timely and effective execution of marketing and promotional activities.Ensure the company adheres to all local laws and regulations related to betting and gambling.Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all required licenses and permits are obtained and maintained.Stay informed about changes in the legal environment and adjust company practices accordingly.Recruit, train, and manage staff, fostering a productive and motivated workforce.Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to employees.Conduct market research to identify opportunities, threats, and trends.Develop strategies to enhance market presence.Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the market.Develop strategies to improve market share and enhance brand presence.Build and maintain relationships with key customers (VIP Customers) and stakeholders.Ensure exceptional customer service and address any issues or concerns promptly.Gather customer feedback and use it to improve products and services.Manage the budget, monitor expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.Implement cost-control measures and ensure financial targets set by Group are met.Track and report on the performance of the business, including sales, customer acquisition, and retention.Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Make informed decisions to drive continuous improvement and business growth.Promote the companys brand and services, ensuring a positive public image by utilizing various marketing channels.Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all touchpoints.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and public engagements.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.Skills:Leadership and team management.Strategic planning and execution.Operational efficiency and process optimization.Regulatory compliance and risk management.Market research and analysis.Financial acumen and budgeting.Business development and partnership building.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Customer service excellence.Problem-solving and decision-making.Understanding of an e-commerce business model.Ability to manage both retail and online sales channels.An interest in marketing and understanding of marketing processes.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in business administration, Management, or a related field.Masters degree will be an added advantage.Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably within the betting or gaming industry.Strong understanding of the countrys regulatory environment.Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.Experience in market analysis and business development.
