A Creative Copywriter provides words and ideas that help accelerate the commercial impact of communications. Creative copywriting is about getting information out in an interesting way.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with marketing and designing team to amend, revise, or redevelop content campaign content based on a brief, service, or concept. Create and plan effective, creative content within the digital marketing platforms (web content, digital ad banners, campaigns) Producing original, clear, and credible content ideas and messages across digital platforms. Assisting in other aspects of the creative or research processes to create cohesive, accurate content. Interpret content writing briefs to understand project requirements. Research and compile professional content for article writing. Proofreading content to check for spelling and grammatical errors (Quality assurance). Translate and edit content according to a brief. Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines.

Minimum Requirements:

BA Degree in Language and Culture or Degree in Translation and Editing Minimum 2-year working experience in creative writing positions, preferable in a digital working environment. Fluent in English and Afrikaans - written and speak.

Software Requirements:

MS Office Suite WordPress Experience in SEO/SEM

Skills:

Creativity and imagination to produce innovation and original content ideas. Ability to write and edit good, clear copy in a variety of marketing styles. Excellent teamwork, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. An understanding of your target audience and marketing strategies. Being able to work under pressure as the position will occasionally experience tight deadlines. Ability to work in a team - good team player with positive attitude.
