Job Description
An established wealth management company, specializing in funding and investments is seeking the expertise of a Credit Analyst to join their investment team. Responsible for analyzing unlisted businesses, preparing loan submissions and related agreements.Responsibilities:
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed
- Prepare documentation and analysis, financial forecast models and Investment memo's
- Establish and ensure company procedures meet conditions for the provisions, special loan conditions for clients
- Prepare and conclude loan agreements and further documentation
- Monitor loan agreement compliance and credit exposure
- Communicate with other staff on matters relating to existing and new loans
- Minimum of CA(SA) / CFA or equivalent tertiary qualification
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the credit and risk industry, corporate finance preferred, alternatively the role can be suited to Newly Qualified CA's who have Financial Services experience during their articles
- Must have a passion for lending, markets and uplifting smaller companies
- Highly analytical and attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of different industries
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Self-motivated, professional, dynamic and passionately results driven
