Job SummaryHire Resolve's Client is currently seeking a Credit Analyst to join their team in Durban. The company is a leading financial institution with a strong presence in the Banking industry. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of potential clients and making informed recommendations based on your analysis.Responsibilities

• Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the creditworthiness of potential clients
• Assess risks associated with credit and loan transactions and propose strategies to mitigate those risks
• Prepare comprehensive credit reports and make informed recommendations based on findings
• Monitor the credit portfolio and proactively identify potential issues or risks
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and ensure accurate credit assessments
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in credit analysis
• Provide credit analysis expertise and support to other departments within the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Proven experience in credit analysis or a similar role
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficient in using credit analysis tools and software
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
