Job Description


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Improve DSO and minimise bad debt
  • Drive efficient and effective collections activities
  • Review current workflow/processes and recommend enhancements
  • Identify trends that may affect collectability
  • Ability to work with a large data set and generate insight for decision making
  • Monitor performance - identity and address areas of concern
  • Reports on actions and challenges - communicate to the head of department
  • Manage account cancellations and improve customer retention
Minimum Requirements:
  • Matric.
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in a managerial or comparable role in a collections environment
  • Knowledge of POPIA and Consumer Protection Act
Exposure within the ICT industry, an advantage
Skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Hard working personality
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Report writing
