Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Improve DSO and minimise bad debt
- Drive efficient and effective collections activities
- Review current workflow/processes and recommend enhancements
- Identify trends that may affect collectability
- Ability to work with a large data set and generate insight for decision making
- Monitor performance - identity and address areas of concern
- Reports on actions and challenges - communicate to the head of department
- Manage account cancellations and improve customer retention
- Matric.
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification.
- 5+ years of proven experience in a managerial or comparable role in a collections environment
- Knowledge of POPIA and Consumer Protection Act
Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Hard working personality
- Keen attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel
- Report writing
