ONLY CANDIDATES FROM THE TRAVEL AND TOURISM INDUSTRY WILL BE CONSIDERED.DescriptionTo ensure that the accounts receivable are collected in time and the records are updated accurately.Responsibilities

• Responsible for getting outstanding accounts paid
• Get marketing invoices signed off by management and clearing it before closing off the system
• Responsible for sending out statements and invoices monthly
• Ensuring that all debtors queries are addressed
• Banking and processing of payments into the debtors accounts
• Liaising with the Manager regarding Barters on Agent accounts
• Following up on overdue payments on agent accounts
• Dealing with the banks and bank accounts
• Reconciling all the deposits on the various bank accounts
• Month end Reports for management

Team Work

• Building and maintaining good relationships within the team
• Building relationships and supporting all business units within the Business Unit

Qualifications and Expertise

• Matric/Grade 12
• Tertiary Qualification in Financial Accounting would be preferred
• 7 years accounts receivable experience
• Experience in Tourplan and Quicktrav would be preferred
