Credit Manager
Job Description
Oversee and manage the entire lending operations, focusing on Purchase Order Funding and Invoice Discounting
Assess credit risk, approve loans, and manage the credit portfolio
Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure sound credit practices
Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient loan processing and client satisfaction
Monitor and report on credit performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded
Conduct site visits to operating offices across the country, approximately once or twice per monthSkills & Experience:
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills
Proven experience (xc2xb15 years) in credit management, with a focus on Purchase Order Funding and Invoice Discounting
Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to travel as required bi-monthly
A solid understanding of the SME sector will be advantageousQualification:
Diploma/Degree/Tertiary qualification is beneficial
