Credit Reporting Analyst IT ~ Finance
Durban - KwaZulu Natal - South AfricaOur client, a well-known South African company in the financial services sector is on the search for a Credit Reporting Analyst to develop, manage, & monitor relevant reporting models, to provide advanced analytical support, to critically analyze & advise the department on data driven insights & trends, & create & maintain accurate data, dashboards, & management reports.Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Science, or similar
- Honours degree preferred
- Proficiency in SQL
- Advanced Excel
- 5 years' experience in Data Analytics, Modelling, & Reporting
- Credit Underwriting would be an advantage
- Prepare and circulate all daily reports to relevant stakeholders
- Manage system/technical issues by logging service desk tickets with IT
- Track all system/policy/operational changes made
- Compile Month End reports and distribute in a timely manner
- End to end system testing
- Monthly analysis on key Credit Risk areas
- Use SQL to extract and analyze data to make data-driven, actionable recommendations about how to improve policies and processes
- Work closely with the Data Science team to price and implement Machine Learning or AI models that optimizes portfolio outcomes
- Automation of reports and processes
