CREDIT REPORTING ANALYST - UMHLANGA Finance/Accounting
Umhlanga, Durban - KwaZulu NatalCredit Reporting AnalystOur client is looking for a Credit Reporting Analyst to join their teamKey PurposeTo develop, manage and monitor relevant reporting models, to provide advanced analytical support, to critically analyze and advise the department on data driven insights and trends, and create and maintain accurate data, dashboards, and management reports.Key OutcomesPrepare and circulate all daily reports to relevant stakeholdersManage system/technical issues by logging service desk tickets with ITTrack all system/policy/operational changes madeCompile Month End reports and distribute in a timely mannerEnsuring KPIs are accurately recordedEnd to end system testingAd-hoc projectsData Analytics to support business needsAd-hoc analyticsMonthly analysis on key Credit Risk areasUse SQL to extract and analyze data to make data-driven, actionable recommendations about how to improve policies and processesWork closely with the Data Science team to price and implement Machine Learning or AI models that optimizes portfolio outcomesAutomation of reports and processesData development and maintenanceAssist and advise on creating and maintaining data in the optimal mannerMinimum Requirements EducationBachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Science or similar fieldPreferred - Honours degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Science or similar fieldProficiency in SQLAdvanced ExcelExperience2-5 years experience in Data Analytics, Modelling and ReportingCredit Underwriting would be an advantagePreferred IndustryFinancial / Credit risk analyticsSkillsTechnical (at least some of the below skills will be necessary)SQL codingAdvanced ExcelDenodo (advantageous)Ability to work with complex and large amounts of dataMicrosoft 365Should you be interested in applying for this position, and you meet the minimum requirements, then Glenda invites you to APPLY below.https://affirmativeportfolios.co.za/Note :Correspondence will be limited to short-listed candidates.
