Our client is a leading financial services provider, playing a pivotal role in shaping South Africa's dynamic real estate market. Specialising in delivering innovative, tailored commercial property financing solutions to property developers, entrepreneurs, and investors, they are making a significant impact on the industry. With an expanding team based in Johannesburg, they are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Credit Risk Analyst to join their ranks. The main focus of this role will be to analyse, monitor, and mitigate risk on potential deals and transactions, ensuring sound financial decisions that align with the company's strategic goals.As a Credit Analyst, your key responsibilities will include liaising with clients to offer expert advice, support, and assistance throughout the financing process. You will be responsible for collecting and compiling client documentation, assessing financial status, and identifying potential risks. In addition, you'll review loan proposals, prepare financial and credit interpretations, and recommend effective risk mitigation strategies. Working closely with other teams, you will also assist clients with loan withdrawals and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth, efficient transactions.To succeed in this role, you should have an NQF 7 in Finance or a relevant qualification, along with 5 years' experience in the financial sector in a similar role. Previous experience within the property industry is preferred, as it will enable you to effectively navigate the complexities of commercial property financing.
