Join my client on a prestigious wine farm in Cape Town to assist in their busy restaurant as a Creditors Clerk, managing payment, recons and cash ups! If this appeals to you and you have the relative experience, please do apply!Responsibilities:

• Manage Creditor accounts ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices whilst mitigating credit risk and maintaining credit control systems and processes
• Interacting with existing and new suppliers resolving any issues in relation to invoice payments, reconciliations, month-end accounts and reporting on outstanding issues
• Record keeping
• Maintaining a credit book according to confirmed terms
• Capturing and allocating payments with 100% accuracy within 1 day of receipt on bank statement
• Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date system of records for all creditor related matters
• Administering the extension of credit facilities from credit applications received
• Processing supplier credit notes
• Effectively and accurately collating required information for the approval of new accounts
• Onboarding new suppliers
• Accurately reconciling all creditors' accounts on a weekly basis
• Accurately produce the weekly ageing report
• Requesting weekly statements and following up to ensure receipt
• Assisting with financial cash flow weekly planning
• Proactively following up on and attending to outstanding recons, invoices, statements and queries
• Ensuring that invoices and credit notes are captured and providing follow-up assistance where necessary

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting or related Accounting Tertiary qualification.
• At least 3 years experience as a creditors clerk, experience in a hospitality would be an advantage
