Job Description
Our client is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to control supplier accounts, ensuring that its captured and reported accurately. As well as processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.The Person:
- Matric essential.
- Degree or Diploma in in Finance/Accounting.
- 2 to 3 years Creditors Recon experience in an FMCG environment.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Pastel Evolution experience, an advantage.
- Trade Creditors:
- Reconcile supplier accounts
- Allocate supplier payments
- Verify suppliers claims
- Process suppliers credit notes (including credits for rebates and discounts deducted off payments)
- Capture data
- Process Goods Received Vouchers
- Attend to and resolve supplier queries and complaints
- Monthly Reporting:
- Perform forecasting of monthly suppliers payments
- Report on variances or non-payments
- File credit notes and recons
- Good communication skills
- Accurate
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Emotional maturity
- Team player
