As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Creditors Clerk to join our finance team.

Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised individual to join our finance department as a Creditors Clerk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's creditors, and ensuring accurate and timely payments while maintaining positive relationships with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, reconciliations, and payments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain creditor accounts and ensure all records are up-to-date.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices or payments promptly.
• Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment inquiries and account issues.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and reporting.
• Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions and controls.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Creditors Clerk or similar role.
• Proficiency in Sage One and Evolution and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices regarding creditors' transactions.
