Job Description
KEY DUTIES:xc2xb7 Process all valid and approved creditor invoices to the correct branch and departmentxc2xb7 Accurate capturing of verified invoices in the accounting system in order to effect payment ontime and accurately to creditors;xc2xb7 Perform 3-way match prior to processing and paying creditor invoicesxc2xb7 Preparation of monthly creditor reconciliations for payment;xc2xb7 Resolve supplier queries timeously and escalate when necessaryxc2xb7 Notify of price increasesxc2xb7 Notify of contract renewalsxc2xb7 Agree invoice to rates per signed contractsxc2xb7 Maintenance of the supplier databasexc2xb7 Maintain daily accurate filingxc2xb7 Completion of supplier application forms;xc2xb7 Obtains relevant documents from supplier, like BEE certificate & bank account details etc.xc2xb7 Ensures all processes are followedxc2xb7 Assists creditors supervisor when and where necessaryxc2xb7 Various ad-hoc tasks from time to time.SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES / KNOWLEDGE:xc2xb7 Attention to detail and ability to work accurately and deliver quality outputsxc2xb7 Strong service delivery ethicxc2xb7 Good problem-solving skillsxc2xb7 Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesxc2xb7 Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and relationship-building skillsxc2xb7 Has a continuous improvement mindsetxc2xb7 Must be willing to take on additional work and multi-task.REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years relevant Accounts Payable experience;
- B Degree;
- Experience with working with multiple ERP systems;
- SAGE X3 experience beneficial;
