Creditors Supervisor (3-month contract) Finance

• Accounting or finance qualification
• 5 years' experience in a similar position with management of a team
• Proficient in all related computer applications, including experience with an accounting package
• Precise planning & excellent organisational / administration skills

Key Performance Areas:

• Manage subordinates so that the productivity of the Creditors Department is maintained or improved
• Ensure the integrity & accuracy of the Accounts Payable ledger
• Ensure processing of supplier transactions
• Ensure suppliers are paid accurately & timeously
• Implementing & maintaining internal controls regarding the creditors function
• Balancing of the creditors ledger, including payment balancing
• Preparing & managing cashflow budgets / forecasts regarding creditors payments
• Review Creditors Reconciliations identify variances and resolve queries
• Ensure that all suppliers are paid on agreed terms
• Maintain and update transport accrual schedule
• Accurate reconciliation of all supplier accounts
• Ensure VAT is accurately treated
