You Will Be Part of Growing TeamLeading our full end-to-end CP commercial businessActive member of Corteva Africa Middle East commercial leadership teamEngage through our cross functional teams, to support our value delivery to growers and channel partners Your Challenge:Scorecards/Key targetsAccountable to deliver financial and non-financial country scorecards for the Crop Protection businessTop-Line and Bottom-Line targets fulfillment. Deliver price, volume, margin to quarter and annual plansShare gain and profitabilityAccountable for demand forecasting and inventoryPL accountability and working capital at Crop Protection business levelSafety ethics compliance customer satisfactionCountry Crop Protection Strategy and Commercial SuccessDevelops a successful commercial development strategy for the Crop Protection business.Ensures resources deployment and alignment with the CU targets.Ensure projects country plan in place to deliver on the Crop Protection country strategyContinuously follows up on the projects to ensure all are on track to achieve delivery targets and on the resources assigned.Country Crop Protection Commercial LeadAccountable for country go to market for Crop ProtectionCoordinate commercial offering to maximize country Crop Protection successEnsure country commercial alignment and delivery for both near and long term (5y year) strategyLead demand review and forecast quality for Crop Protection businessDrive collaboration with the Seed platform, Biologicals and Seed Applied in terms of offering to farmersBuild and leverage commercial external partnerships from customers and thru industry & crop associationsPeopleLead & develop the Sales organization to its full potential and according to our valuesPeople leadership in sales organization for Crop Protection including talent selection and development, succession planEnsure full compliance with the corporate standards.Ensures the commercial organization is set up for success to growth on permanent basis using development people programs that include training, coaching and exposure of the peopleContinuously leverage the best practices to grow and improve productivity of the resourcesPartnershipBuilds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community- and industry organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices & Market Shaper philosophyCoordinates activity with other departments and ensures operational and strategic goals are achievedCustomer relationship, growth, acquisition and retentionReporting linesManages: Area Sales Managers, Marketing Managers and Technical AgronomistReports to: Commercial Director Africa Middle East Key Stakeholders and Interactions:Internal:Commercial Unit Leadership Team, marketing and support functional teamsExternal:Strategic Business Partners/ Channel distributionCrop Protection Association and crop industryGovernment, high level regulatory agencies, key country ag institutionsLocation:Centurion (Gauteng) or Paarl (Western Cape), South Africa #LI-NK2QualificationsTo Grow What Matters, You Will Need:BSc degree. Agriculture, BCom or related and MBA would be an advantageMinimum 10 years of successful commercial leadership experienceGood understanding of the ag market dynamics and value chain.
